The interface is divided into two distinct parts :
- To the left, the Sphere of Interest tree.
- To the right, the window of results’ visualisations
The Spheres of Interest allow to organise the useful subjects to the user.
The
user can create new "spheres of interest" by clicking on the button
and delete an existing sphere
of interest clicking on
The visualisation window appears on the right part of the screen. This part of the interface is used to visualise search and watch results performed by INSYDER
Each sphere of interest can contain three types of objects :
- "search", i. e. searches launched using the various sources (search engines and web sites)
- "watch" , which allow to monitor an URL selected by the user.
- "news", which are shortcuts to an Internet page, allowing to visualise directly within the INSYDER interface the sites that the user consults regularly.
Menu file
Open : allows to load Your "spheres of interest"
Save : allows to save Your "spheres of interest"
Save as: allows to save Your "spheres of interest" under a new name
Quit : allows to save Your "spheres of interest" and then close INSYDER
In function of the " sphere of interest " selected, a menu with the same name will appear on the right of the menu " sources " If the sphere of interest "Technology" is selected, a menu "Technology" is added, proposing the following options :
- Add a Folder
- Add a Watch
- Add a bookmark
- Add a Search
